Using
xvidcap Install from Synaptic is much easier but if you love the console using the following.
this program is that I used and that to get avi video file.
-libpng2 but we need to install libpng3, so:
sudo apt-get install libpng3
-then create a link like this:
sudo ln-s / usr/lib/libpng.so.3 / usr/lib/libpng.so.2
-Download the latest package from the download page and install it like this:
sudo dpkg-i xvidcap_version_descargada.deb
We ran with
xvidcap
